An electronic Prop House

Period IBM computer, monitor & keyboard

This is the original IBM PC first produced in 1981. Very distinctive shape - particularly the boxy monitor. Perfect for 1980s office scenes. We have a good run of these both non-practical & practical. Two types of screen are available - the original monochrome green screen & the low res colour CGA screen. The green screen monitors have what is called a long persistance phosphor which means that roll bars & flickering are virtually unnoticeable when filmed. They were originally notoriously noisy but we've managed to quieten them down to keep sound recordists happy.
