Avometer model 7 analogue multimeter

These were very standard testbench equipment for electronics labs, engineers & technicians from the 1950s up until about the 1990s when digital multimeters took over. Rather than being permanently connected into a circuit, the typical usage of any multimeter is for a technician or engineer to connect it into different parts of a circuit & observing the needle movement each time the connection is moved. This is a very frequent form of fault finding which could make good background detail for an extra to be performing in a scene. We can supply electronics to remotely control the needle movement if required.
