VERY chunky glass domed indicator lamps on chrome plate originating from the BBC. These would be mounted in a prominent position in every studio. Red lamp lit means the microphone is live to air so keep quiet. Amber lit means the phone is ringing. We also have clear frosted domes allowing any colour pygmy bulb to be used.
There is live mains just about touchable on the rear of the lampholders so for safety, this needs to be mounted in an enclosure or else there needs to be restricted access to the rear of the mounting panel.
