This has become a design classic with its smooth, roundy, brown bakelite cabinet design. It has a 9 inch diagonal black & white screen. Queen Elizabeth's coronation was the first ever to be televised which sparked a large increase in the sale of televisions back in those patriotic days. TVs then were very much luxury items with a hefty purchase tax on them although this set with its poky little screen, was one of the more affordable. Costing £35 originally, in today's equivalent money that's well over £1000 so only affordable to the comfortably middle class.
Not presently practical but with quite a lot of work & some luck it may eventually be restored to working.
