Practical Cossor 1959 Dark Wood 17" CRT Television

Cossor CT1700U 405 line TV using the Philips 17-TG-100U chassis.

Being so old, this working TV requires a 405 line format signal which was the original TV transmission standard used up until 625 line transmissions commenced in 1964 in preparation for colour transmissions in 1967. We can now supply a very clever TV standards converter box which can convert the more modern 625 line composite video into the correct RF signal for the aerial socket on this & our other 405 line TVs.

Please be aware that as with all such old TVs, it can take several minutes after switch on for all the valves inside the TV to heat up & produce a stable picture on screen.
