Practical twin Russian/Soviet Union cold war radio transmitter cabinets mounted in cradle

Genuine former radio transmitter control racks from the Soviet Union. These have been stripped of their original heavy electronics contents & the original panel lamps, meters & indicators rewired so that most of the lamps can now be controlled by the original panel switches & knobs allowing you to adjust just how busy the panels look. These have a brilliant cold war era look to them with their silver/grey hammered paint finish & clunky controls & indicators. Original Cyrillic text is silk screened onto the panels adjacent to the controls. The text is always applied on flat surfaces so is easy to graphics over with your own text if required. The two cabinets are mounted on a cradle but are easily separated into individual cabinets by undoing 4 bolts. When separated, they exactly fit seamlessly over our Russian rack 2882 increasing the height and interest.
